ABOUT
CONCEPT :
The concept of this brand is “lovers”. Stories of the life and death of a couple are expressed by clothes made mostly of leather.
Each piece is given a poem, and finished as if it were breathing.
Clothes are stained with memories, and the deep stains will never be washed away.
I used to have clothes, ones with cherished memories, those worn-out, musty clothes.
The feel and smell of them make me feel as if I was back to those days.
Clothes are like love nurtured by lovers, and like memories of them.
It is especially true with leatherwear.
The more one wears a piece of leatherwear, the more movements of the person it memorizes.
Wrinkles and stains are given to clothes according to the ways each of us live in them.
And shabby memories are left like a dusty wardrobe, showing one’s figure even after the person dies.
Fusion of classic and mode, I would like to pose new genre and concept "classic mode “ and “create like a old european furniture"
Through the stories, I would like you to learn of the preciousness of love, which is lying here and there.
What would people feel if something they thought so natural to be there suddenly disappeared?
What is life and death? What is love? I would like to pose these questions once again.
STORY :
There were lovers.
The couple started the hands of their lock watch moving in order to create a perfect world of love.
Every time the second hand ticked, their time slid into that perfect world of love.
The lock watch, which every human owns, consists of a pair of watches:
The woman’s watch has a key hole and the man’s watch has the key for it.
The lovers unlock the watch and the hands start moving, creating the perfect world of love.
When the hands stop, however, the death tears the couple apart.
The two didn’t mind it as they knew there was no such thing as eternal love.
If death is inevitable – they made up their minds – why don’t we fall in heart-shaking love in this moment we live?
Their love kept shining light ahead of them, so brightly as to always wash out the shadow of their eventual death.
They made a lot of promises, they traveled with a trunk full of love, they wrote so many words of love on the foreshore.
The woman always wore her favorite dress when she met her man.
They were always full of overflowing love.
A short loitering on the road, the concert by and for them alone, the deserted house where they lay flirting,
And the everlasting road they walked – yes, they thought it would last forever, those perfect days.
They thought it natural that it would last– in the process they forgot the truth .
The woman had an appointment with her man in the dusk.
She jumped out of the house, wearing that favorite dress of hers and shoes with strings untied.
She was stood up by him under the tree as usual.
Her cheeks turned red, she hummed her favorite song.
She casually peeked at her watch, she poked it with a finger, and, all of sudden, tears oozed out.
And they dropped down.
The tears colored scarlet by the thin setting sun blotted and spread on her dress.
When the sun set, the man died.
The oozing-out days with you, smudge my fresh, favorite dress, according to schedule.
